Happy Founder Friday! Today marks a significant milestone—it’s been one year since the launch of our Swim Cap, a product designed to redefine hair protection in water. Thanks to your incredible support and feedback, we're not just celebrating an anniversary; we're also excited to announce a major development: the launch of Swim Cap 2.0!

A Year of Growth and Perseverance

Reflecting on the past year, the initial launch of our Swim Cap was a significant step towards solving a widespread problem: effective hair protection in water. And while the cap was groundbreaking, it was not entirely our original vision.

From the start, there was a vision for a custom adjustable band, that was a novel swim cap component inspired by the adjustability of goggles. 🥽 But there was one problem -it would  require a custom mold and a commitment for 10K units per color. We couldn’t afford it at the time and our supplier was skeptical that we could get to that volume. 👀

Overcoming Obstacles with Community Support

If you know me, you know I will go to great lengths to see a product vision through! So we decided to go on the hunt for a band that would get the job done and allow us to prove to our suppliers that we could sell at a volume that would justify and fund the investment.

Fast-forward one year later, and we did just that! Thanks to you, we have sold over 50,000 units, allowing us to invest in the mold and produce the band I dreamed of from the start! 🙌🏽

While the "1.0 band" worked well, it wasn't ideal in terms of ease of adjustability and the learning curve.

Our 2.0 band is significantly easier to adjust, (especially for our kiddos) and  more user-friendly. It is already getting rave reviews:

Not only that, we were able to invest in an international patent that I just submitted last night! I can't tell you how grateful I am that we were able to stamp our place in history as having developed the first adjustable swim cap empowering all of us to dive in with confidence, and never worry about our hair!
